Comic style illustration using Zbrush
Zbrush is amazing instrument, it let users to use digital sculpture for a variety of purposes. Well, today here is a little example of using Zbrush tools to get Comic style art. I use shaders from Nick Zuccarello, and I like the result which gives scope for interpretation in Photoshop.
Ok, using my Wild Boar head sculpture and Nick’s comic style shaders for zbrush i get few pictures including some line art, shadows, depth map. I combined it in Photoshop and added a few touches by hand. Bellow you can see animated GIF by steps.
